Acacia Hosts "Deadly Sins" Date Party
11/30/2009

MANHATTAN, KS – Gluttony, greed, pride, and sloth were in the air for the K-State Acacia fall date party. The theme for the party, which was held at the Holiday Inn in Manhattan on November 20th, was the Seven Deadly Sins.

"The Men of Acacia and their dates were very imaginative with their costumes," said Br. Nathan Lechtenberg '09. "All of the seven deadly sins were represented."

One of the more notable costumes of the evening was that of Br. Austin Enns '09 portraying greed. Who will ever forget his bling bling and signature hat?

"The Seven Deadly Sins date party allowed me to get out, be creative, and meet a lot of new people," said Young Man Forrest Trachsel.

The date party, organized by the external committee and headed by Junior Dean Br. Andrew Broeckelman '09 and Social Chair Br. Brett Engleman '09, was the first of the year. The annual K-State Acacia Black and Gold Formal is quickly approaching next semester.
